2. How to Request a Correction
If you believe an article on Awesome TV contains a factual error, please email corrections@awesometv.com with the following information:

- The specific text or claim you believe is inaccurate
- The corrected information you believe is accurate
- A source or documentation that supports the correction (if available)
- Your name and contact information
3. Our Correction Process
Upon receiving a correction request, our editorial team will:
- Acknowledge receipt of the request, typically within two business days.
- Independently verify the claim against original sources and our newsroom records.
- Where the claim is substantiated, update the article and note the correction.
- Notify the person who reported the error of the resolution.
4. Types of Editorial Updates
We distinguish between four kinds of post-publication changes:
- Correction — A factual error is fixed in the article body and noted at the bottom of the article (e.g., “Correction: An earlier version of this article misstated the release date.”).
- Clarification — Language that was technically accurate but potentially misleading is rewritten for precision and noted at the bottom of the article.
- Update — New information becomes available after publication. The article is updated and an updated date is displayed; significant updates are summarized at the top or bottom of the article.
- Retraction — In the rare event that an article contains errors so substantial that correction is insufficient, the article may be retracted. The original URL will display a retraction notice explaining the reason and date.
5. Social Media Corrections
When a published article is corrected and the article was previously promoted on social platforms with inaccurate information, we will issue a correction on the relevant platform where reasonably possible.
6. Plagiarism & Fabrication
Plagiarism and the fabrication of quotes, sources, or facts are firing offenses at Awesome TV. Any article found to contain plagiarized or fabricated material will be retracted, the author terminated, and the matter publicly disclosed.
