Kevin Feige: Adam Driver Has Made an Art of Turning Down Marvel

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has opened up about the studio’s ongoing pursuit of Adam Driver, revealing that the actor’s repeated rejections of MCU roles have become something of a running joke.

During an appearance on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Feige explained that Marvel has extended multiple offers to Driver over the years, only to be turned down each time. “It’s become a tradition to Zoom with him and then he passes,” Feige said, describing the pattern with a touch of humor.

The Marvel chief didn’t specify which roles Driver declined, but his comments confirm that the studio has made serious efforts to bring the ‘Star Wars’ actor into the cinematic universe. Despite the consistent rejections, Feige suggested the conversations have remained friendly and straightforward.

Driver, best known for playing Kylo Ren in the ‘Star Wars’ sequel trilogy, hasn’t signed on to any Marvel projects to date. Still, if Feige’s remarks are any indication, Marvel isn’t ready to give up on landing the acclaimed actor.
