Aditya Roy Kapur Makes Singing Debut in Metro… In Dino.

Pritam Praises Actor’s Voice: “He Sounds Amazing”

Mumbai – Aditya Roy Kapur is stepping into new territory—by singing in his upcoming film Metro… In Dino. At the music launch of the track ‘Zamaana Lage’, composer Pritam revealed that Kapur has sung some of the songs himself.

“In musicals, stars often sing their own parts. Adi has sung in his own voice—and he sounds amazing,” said Pritam.

A Special Project for Aditya

Aditya called the film a meaningful one, sharing his love for the original Life In A… Metro:

“It’s a special film for me. I was a big fan of the first one. Being part of this feels like an honour.”

He also spoke about how singing added emotional depth to his performance:

“Usually, we just act like we’re singing. But this time, doing the vocals myself brought something extra.”

The film features ten songs, composed by Pritam. Aditya mentioned he hasn’t heard all of them yet—but is excited to experience the full album.

“I’m looking forward to hearing all ten. I’m sure they’re going to be amazing.”
