Akshay Oberoi Begins Family World Tour Before Film Rush

Actor Akshay Oberoi is pressing pause on work before stepping into one of the busiest phases of his career. Ahead of a packed lineup of film releases in the second half of 2026, the actor has embarked on a month-long family world tour, calling it his “calm before the chaos.”

The trip spans several destinations, including London, Paris, Ghana, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. More importantly, it gives Oberoi the chance to spend uninterrupted time with his loved ones before promotions, shoots, and releases dominate his schedule.

Speaking about the journey, the actor said, “The second half of 2026 is going to be extremely hectic for me with all my films releasing one after another, so I consciously wanted to take this time out with my family. This trip is honestly my calm before the chaos.”

Choosing Family Before Films

Despite his demanding career, Oberoi believes family time should never take a back seat. Therefore, he intentionally planned this break before his work commitments intensify.

Once July begins, his calendar will be filled with film promotions, interviews, shoots, and back-to-back releases. As a result, opportunities for a long family holiday will become increasingly rare.

Creating Memories With His Son

For Oberoi, the trip is about much more than sightseeing. Instead, it is about making memories with his son while he still can.

Reflecting on fatherhood, the actor shared, “My son is growing up so fast and I don’t want to miss these moments with him.”

He believes these experiences are priceless. Consequently, he chose to prioritise family over work, even if only for a short while.

A Busy Year Lies Ahead

The timing of the vacation is no coincidence. In fact, the actor has an exciting slate of films scheduled for release in the coming months.

His upcoming projects include Toxic, a film alongside Manoj Bajpayee that was earlier titled Ghooskhor Pandat, King, and Two Zero One Four, which also stars Jackie Shroff.

Together, these releases are expected to make the second half of 2026 one of the busiest and most significant periods of his career.

Travel That Inspires

Apart from spending time with family, Oberoi also considers travel deeply therapeutic.

He enjoys exploring different cultures, meeting new people, trying local cuisines, and wandering through unfamiliar streets. Rather than following strict itineraries, he prefers discovering destinations at his own pace.

As a result, every journey becomes a source of inspiration and personal growth.

Finding Balance in a Fast-Paced Industry

Life in Bollywood rarely slows down. Even so, Oberoi believes taking a break is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

According to the actor, stepping away from work helps him return with renewed energy and a fresh perspective. In turn, it also makes him a better performer and a more present father.

Ready for the ‘Chaos’ Ahead

Once the family tour comes to an end, Akshay Oberoi will jump straight into promotions, film releases, media appearances, and new shooting schedules.

Until then, however, he is embracing every moment with his loved ones. His “calm before the chaos” perfectly reflects this brief pause before an action-packed second half of 2026.

With several high-profile films on the horizon, fans have plenty to look forward to. Yet, for now, the actor is proving that sometimes the best way to prepare for success is by spending quality time with the people who matter most.
