AMA 2026 Nominations: Taylor Swift Leads with Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan

The American Music Awards (AMA) 2026 nominations are out, and fans are going crazy over the strong candidates, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Kendrick Lamar. They include a mix of pop stars, hip-hop stars, and up-and-coming artists. The biggest night in music will be on November 20 at the Microsoft Theater.

Taylor Swift is up for eight awards, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Country Album for her latest hit, The Tortured Poets Department. Eilish’s nominations include Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Pop Artist for “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”

Everyone is talking about Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, who each got six nominations. Roan, who just had a hit with “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” is up for New Artist of the Year against Teddy Swims, Tyla, and Shaboozey. Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” era gives her a chance to win Pop Artist, Album of the Year, and more.

Kendrick Lamar is the clear winner in the Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist category with “GNX,” and Bad Bunny is looking to win in the Favorite Male Latin Artist category. Pop duo Benson Boone and Tommy Richman crash the party with a lot of nods.
