Gubanova started with “San Sanana” from the 2001 movie Asoka with Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Then she moved on to the title song from the upcoming action thriller Dhurandhar. She wore a red and gold costume with a big red bindi and danced perfectly to the music, even adding some Punjabi folk steps to the mix. Instagram user @_thejuggernaut shared the routine, which shows how much she loves Indian style. She skated to Panjabi MC’s “Jogi” for the 2025 qualifiers and called herself a “Indian girl.”

Fans commented on how Bollywood has a long reach in Russia, with some saying they wish there were more Indian athletes to support and others praising Gubanova’s bravery.
