Avinash always dreamed of acting but never planned which role he would play in Dupahiya. “I never decided on a role from the start,” he said. “I wanted to act, but my main focus was as a writer and creator. If I had prioritized my role, I might have become selfish, which could have affected the story.”
Auditioning for Kuber’s Role
Despite being the creator, Avinash auditioned for the role of Kuber. “People don’t know this, but I auditioned just like anyone else,” he revealed. “I felt Kuber had a lot to offer, so I auditioned. The director and platform liked my performance, and that’s how I got the role.”
The Fulfillment of Creating Dupahiya
For Avinash, co-creating Dupahiya has been a deeply rewarding experience. “Creating something from scratch feels like planting a seed and watching it grow,” he explained. “It’s fulfilling, like raising a child and seeing them succeed. This is my first show as a creator, and seeing it be loved by so many is amazing.”
