Young Reiki master Ayush Gupta brought a fresh perspective to Sansad Youth Parliament 2026 in Bhopal. Instead of focusing only on intense discussions and debates, he introduced participants to meditation, positive energy and self-awareness.
The special Reiki Healing session took place on August 14 at the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha premises. As a result, participants got a chance to pause, relax and reconnect with themselves.
Moreover, the session offered a welcome break from the energy of parliamentary discussions. It also highlighted the growing importance of mental balance among young people.
A Fresh Take on Leadership
For Ayush, leadership is not simply about speaking confidently or having the most knowledge. Instead, he believes it starts with understanding yourself.
According to him, young leaders need inner clarity before they can effectively influence the world around them. Therefore, self-awareness can be just as important as communication and decision-making skills.
The response from participants was also encouraging. They actively joined the meditation and energy-focused activities. Many described the experience as peaceful, positive and different from their usual Youth Parliament activities.
Who Is Ayush Gupta?
Ayush Gupta is one of India’s young Reiki Grandmasters and Energy Healers. However, his work goes beyond practising an ancient healing tradition.
Instead, he wants to make traditional wisdom easier for today’s youth to understand. He believes young people can connect with practices such as meditation when they are presented in a practical and relatable way.
In fact, Ayush sees his role as building a bridge between ancient knowledge and modern lifestyles. For him, meditation can offer a useful pause amid academic pressure, social media and everyday expectations.
Why Young People Need Inner Balance
Today’s youth face constant competition and pressure. At the same time, social media keeps them connected almost all day.
As a result, finding time to slow down can become difficult. Young people may focus heavily on education, careers and external achievements while overlooking their emotional well-being.
Ayush believes inner strength and self-awareness deserve equal attention. According to him, meditation and Reiki can encourage relaxation, self-awareness and a more positive mindset.
However, he does not see these practices as replacements for education or professional development. Instead, they can complement them by helping young people approach challenges with greater calmness and clarity.
Real Leadership Starts Within
For Ayush, leadership begins with self-understanding. A person may have knowledge, confidence and strong communication skills. Still, maintaining inner balance can make those qualities more effective.
Therefore, he wants young people to have opportunities to explore meditation and mindfulness alongside their regular education.
This idea becomes even more relevant for students dealing with academic pressure and career expectations. A short moment of reflection can provide space to pause and regain focus.
Moreover, developing self-awareness early could help young people handle challenges more thoughtfully as they move into professional and leadership roles.
Could Meditation Become Part of Youth Programmes?
Ayush believes mindfulness can become a meaningful part of youth-oriented programmes. Importantly, he does not suggest replacing existing educational or leadership activities.
Instead, he believes simple practices can be added to them. Even a few minutes of meditation or reflection could create a calmer environment before important discussions.
His vision goes even further. Ayush believes parliamentary sessions could begin with a brief moment of meditation and reflection.
According to his perspective, a calm and focused mind can encourage more thoughtful conversations, decisions and actions.
Connecting Ancient Wisdom With Modern Life
Ayush’s approach also focuses on making ancient practices relevant to a new generation. Young people today are more informed and curious than ever.
At the same time, they are also exposed to unprecedented levels of information and digital pressure. Therefore, traditional practices may offer a useful way to create moments of stillness.
Rather than treating meditation as something disconnected from modern life, Ayush wants young people to see it as a practical tool for self-awareness and balance.
His Youth Parliament session reflected that approach. It brought together leadership discussions with an opportunity for personal reflection.
A Meaningful Youth Parliament Experience
The Sansad Youth Parliament 2026 experience was particularly significant for Ayush because participants came from different parts of the country.
They were already engaging with important social and national issues. However, the Reiki Healing session encouraged them to turn their attention inward as well.
As a result, the experience created a balance between external leadership and internal awareness.
For Ayush, that balance is essential. He believes future leaders should not only know how to raise important questions but also know how to listen, reflect and respond responsibly.
What’s Next for Ayush Gupta?
The Youth Parliament experience has strengthened Ayush’s belief that today’s young generation needs more than ambition and knowledge.
They also need emotional awareness, mental clarity and the ability to remain balanced under pressure. Consequently, he sees mindfulness as a valuable addition to youth-focused platforms.
As Ayush continues his journey as a young Reiki Grandmaster and Energy Healer, he hopes to make ancient wellness practices more accessible to modern audiences.
Ultimately, his message is simple. Tomorrow’s leaders will need both external skills and inner awareness to create meaningful change.
