“Ayushmann Khurrana: From Avant-garde Roles to Comedy Kingpin with ‘Dream Girl’ Series”
The accomplished actor, renowned for his avant-garde roles, gradually emerged as the new face of contemporary cinema. However, the Dream Girl series deviated from the usual roles Ayushmann was associated with. The movie was an instant hit with viewers and became a major success.
Dream Girl had the essence of a spicy commercial movie, and the anticipation for Dream Girl 2 among fans is palpable.
Ayushmann Khurrana is now poised to be the only young Bollywood icon with a comedic film series to his credit.
Reflecting on this, Ayushmann remarks, “Having a successful comedy series was never a planned milestone in my career. It’s something that serendipitously fell into place. My focus has always been on groundbreaking projects that resonate with a wide audience. The Dream Girl series was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, given its novel premise not yet ventured by my contemporaries.”
He elaborates, “I strive to be unique in my craft and present unconventional ideas to my audience. The Dream Girl series is an epitome of this. The immense love for the first movie and the recent reactions to Dream Girl 2’s trailer affirm we’re heading in the right direction. Every piece of content from this series has been embraced by fans, and I’m hopeful they’ll cherish Dream Girl 2. We’ve poured our hearts into ensuring this film is a rib-tickling entertainer.”
