Brad Pitt’s Long-Awaited Cliff Booth Sequel Finally Has an Official Title

Netflix has unveiled the official title for Brad Pitt’s follow-up to ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’: ‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’. The film, directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, will hit IMAX theaters in November before streaming on Netflix in December.

Pitt is reprising his role as Cliff Booth, the stunt double and close friend of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character from the 2019 original. Pitt’s portrayal earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, cementing the character as one of the most memorable of his career.

The sequel jumps ahead to 1977, about eight years after the events of the first film, catching up with Cliff as he faces a drastically different Hollywood landscape. While Tarantino penned the screenplay, filmmaker David Fincher has taken over directing duties, reuniting him with Pitt following their collaborations on ‘Se7en’ and ‘Fight Club’.

The supporting cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Peter Weller and several other performers. Pitt is also producing the project alongside Ceán Chaffin.

‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’ will open exclusively in IMAX theaters on November 25, 2026, before arriving on Netflix on December 23, 2026. The two-week theatrical window positions the film as one of Netflix’s most anticipated releases for next year.
