Clavicular Charged With Rape, Drugging Person for Sex in Massachusetts

Online influencer and streamer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, faces three criminal charges in Massachusetts, including rape and drugging a person for sexual intercourse.

Court records show prosecutors filed the charges on September 8. The charges include one count of rape, one count of drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and one count of providing liquor to someone under 21.

The alleged incident occurred on May 23, 2025. Peters, 20, is scheduled for arraignment on October 14. Court documents provide limited details about the specific allegations at this stage.

Peters’ representative, Mitchell Jackson, contested the characterization of the case in recent reports. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jackson said Peters had not been officially served with the charges and accused The Bulwark of overstating the case’s status.

Peters has publicly responded to the charges through his representatives, denying the allegations and stating his intention to defend himself in court. The charges remain allegations and have not resulted in any conviction.

The Massachusetts charges follow a civil lawsuit filed in Florida by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, known online as Alorah Ziva.

Mendoza’s lawsuit alleges battery, fraud, and sexual misconduct against Peters. According to her complaint, she was given alcohol and had sexual contact with Peters while intoxicated at his parents’ home in Cape Cod in 2025. She also alleged that Peters injected her with Aqualyx, a fat-dissolving substance, during a livestream without her consent.

Peters has denied those allegations and sought dismissal of parts of the lawsuit. It remains unclear whether all allegations from the civil case are included in the criminal charges.

Peters has built an online following through content centered on “looksmaxxing” a trend focused on improving physical appearance through various methods. His livestreams and content on appearance and internet culture have made him a controversial figure on social media.

Peters’ legal troubles have intensified scrutiny of his online career. His Massachusetts arraignment is scheduled for October 14, with additional court details expected as the case proceeds.
