CRAWL – Coming from Producer Sam Raimi, and Director Alexandre Aja definitely know their craft at film making. Move over “JAWS” – “CRAWL” – will make you jump from your seat. The film is an adrenaline thumping, non-stop thrill ride that will keep you glued onto the screen for its 90 minute duration. The effects are on the level of “Twister” The storm and flood scenes do grip you. Its a category 4 hurricane, and in the swamp trenches of Florida, residents must evacuate.
But there are stubborn people that do not leave their home. One daughter who is coming from swimming class, goes back to check up on her dad, who has been in the home, despite state requests for everyone to evacuate. Little does she know that the crawl space below her house are flooded with “Gators”, that can take your arm off. The film just never relents, and keeps on flooding you with fear.
