Koffee with Karan, the chat show hosted by Karan Johar, returned for its new season with the delightful real-life couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Their appearance set a refreshing tone, choosing to fill their conversations with love and positivity.
Throughout the episode, Deepika and Ranveer openly expressed their affection for each other and even allowed space for Karan to share his personal battle with depression. A standout moment occurred when Karan revealed his struggles, and Deepika offered heartfelt support, saying, “I am here for you, Karan, whenever you need me.”
In recent years, Karan Johar’s chat show has faced criticism for occasionally promoting hate, encouraging comparisons, and causing harm. However, this latest episode featuring the Couple of Substance, Deepika, and Ranveer, is a beautiful departure from that trend.
There were no toxic conversations, no unnecessary gossip, and no double entendres – just love, smiles, laughter, joy, and even tears of happiness. The episode was still filled with memorable moments, proving that toxicity is not necessary to capture attention.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of this episode was seeing Deepika and Ranveer seated together, radiating strength, love, and gratitude, just as they do in their everyday lives. Their commitment to each other was evident, and as Deepika mentioned, they plan to keep doing what they’ve been doing.
Let’s hope that the future guests on the show take inspiration from this loving and harmonious example set by our favorite couple!
