Emily in Paris Season 5: Release Date, Trailer & Rome Updates

Netflix will release all ten episodes of Emily in Paris Season 5 today, December 18, 2025, at 12:30 PM IST. Filming started in May 2025 in Rome and moved around Italy’s famous sites before returning to Paris.

In the official Season 5 trailer, Emily says “buongiorno” instead of “bonjour” as she opens a new Agence Grateau office in Rome. Expect romance with Eugenio Franceschini’s Marcello, work problems, and beautiful views from Rome to Venice. Creator Darren Star promises a story set in two cities that mixes high fashion, heartbreak, and humor.

Lily Collins stars with Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, and other fan favorites like Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery. Eugenio Franceschini becomes a regular as Emily’s Italian love interest, and Camille Razat leaves the show as a regular. Minnie Driver, who was nominated for an Oscar, is one of the new additions.

Filming had to stop in August because assistant director Diego Borella died suddenly in Venice. It started up again in his honor. The season shows more than 40 places in Rome, like Hotel de Russie, to show how beautiful Italy is. Even though there were problems, the cast loved the Eternal City. Collins said it was an exciting adventure.
