Creator Lee Sung Jin tapped Finneas to shape the season’s sonic identity—a role that consumed nearly a year of work. He pored over scenes repeatedly, meticulously crafting compositions to capture every emotional beat. The result is starkly different from Bobby Krlic’s Season 1 score. Instead, Finneas leans into modern nostalgia, layering lush synths with deeply resonant melodies.
The composer worked hand-in-hand with Lee Sung Jin to weave the original score alongside a curated soundtrack featuring Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Hot Chip, M83, LCD Soundsystem, Phoenix and Billie Eilish—all combining for an immersive listening experience.
