By Arun Sajnani,
I, TONYA – Who remembers the “Tonya Harding Story??” – The figure skater who lost all the glory at the Winter Olympics in the 90’s, is now a biopic that features Margot Robbie in “I, TONYA” The film shows Tonya Harding rising through the ranks of competitive figure skating only to find disgrace when her husband tries to eliminate her rival.
The film may be taken from personal quotes and interviews from Tonya’s perspective of what really happened. But the film shows more than that. To just fit in and coming from blue-collar poor America – Tonya Harding tried to make it and to come that close, just fall into despair is a bummer. To meet those challenges and to loose all privileges was painful. But she had to find of a way to keep going with all her bad surroundings that she faced.
Actress Margot Robbie is amazing and puts her full heart in the title role. She deserves a Best Actress nomination for her performance. All the entire cast get into the skin of their roles, that makes this film enjoyable and quirky to watch. The film gets a 4 star recommendation. A Must See!! Courtesy by Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
