Jenn Levy Named Amazon MGM Unscripted TV Head

Amazon MGM Studios hires Jenn Levy as new head of unscripted and documentary television. This newly created position unites the studio’s nonfiction content efforts. The former 32 Flavors president and Netflix VP leads teams including Amazon MGM Unscripted, MGM Alternative, Big Fish Entertainment, and Evolution Media. She reports directly to global TV head Peter Friedlander and begins January 20 from the Culver City office.​

Levy joined Netflix in 2017 as director of unscripted originals, advanced to VP, and greenlit hits like Love Is Blind, Queer Eye, and The Ultimatum. Before Netflix, she spent nine years at Bravo as senior VP, shaping shows such as The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Top Chef, and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Recently, as president of Alex Baskin’s 32 Flavorslinked to Amazon’s former Evolution Media—she elevated unscripted formats beyond conventions.​

Friedlander praised Levy’s leadership in a staff memo for building a streamlined unscripted division amid Amazon’s drive for exclusive nonfiction titles and external sales. The appointment follows Friedlander’s September 2025 promotion after Vernon Sanders’ exit, underscoring focus on reality TV and docuseries.
