The two stars have released a video message urging audiences to take the problem seriously and support ‘The India Story’, a social drama that confronts this widespread public health crisis.
Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade have raised concerns about food adulteration and urged audiences to watch The India Story. The social drama releases worldwide on July 24, 2026, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The film, produced by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios and helmed by director Chettan DK, is written and produced by Sagar B. Shinde.
“This issue affects every Indian,” the actors said in their appeal, emphasizing that food adulteration extends far beyond entertainment concerns and directly threatens the health and safety of families nationwide.
Through hard-hitting storytelling, The India Story exposes the dangers lurking in contaminated and adulterated food products—a problem that often flies under the radar despite devastating consequences for public health. The filmmakers hope the narrative will spark conversations about food safety and push viewers to become more discerning consumers.
