Krishnavataram Team Meets Yogi Adityanath Ahead of Release; Trailer Creates Nationwide Buzz

Mumbai | April 2026: The team behind Krishnavataram recently met Yogi Adityanath ahead of the film’s release. The meeting highlighted the makers’ vision for the mythological epic. Director Hardik Gajjar attended along with producers Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant. Debut actors Sanskruti Jayana and Siddharth Gupta were also present.

Meanwhile, the visit comes shortly after the trailer grabbed nationwide attention. Audiences praised the film’s grand visuals and mythological storytelling.

Grand Trailer Launch in Mathura

Earlier, the team launched the trailer in Mathura, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Thousands of devotees gathered for the event. As a result, the launch turned into a memorable celebration.

Furthermore, the team visited several key pilgrimage sites in Vrindavan. These included:

  • Raman Reti Temple
  • Radha Rani Temple
  • Prem Mandir
  • ISKCON Temple

Debutants Step Into Mythological Roles

In Krishnavataram, Sanskruti Jayana plays the pivotal role of Satyabhama. At the same time, Siddharth Gupta portrays Lord Krishna. Notably, this marks the first mythological project for both actors.

Speaking about the visit, Sanskruti Jayana revealed that the team sought blessings after launching the trailer in Mathura. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of showcasing Indian culture through cinema. She also confirmed that the film will release on May 7, 2026.

Makers Highlight Cultural Significance

Meanwhile, producer Sajan Raj Kurup expressed gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh administration. He also appreciated the encouragement from CM Yogi Adityanath. According to him, the Chief Minister suggested creating more culturally rooted films.

Moreover, Kurup stressed the film’s larger vision. He explained that Krishnavataram aims to pass India’s cultural heritage to future generations. He added that the project celebrates history, tradition, and spiritual values.

First Chapter of a Grand Franchise

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, Krishnavataram is produced by Creativeland Studios Entertainment and Athasrikatha Motion Pictures. The film is backed by Sajan Raj Kurup, Shobha Sant, Poonam Shroff, and Parth Gajjar.

Importantly, the movie is planned as the first part of a three-film franchise. With growing excitement and strong early buzz, Krishnavataram is set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026.
