A Dream Debut
Singer-songwriter Lisa Mishra is stepping into the acting world with the upcoming series The Royals. Known for her soulful voice, Lisa now takes on a bold new role alongside an all-star cast.
Sharing Screen Space with a Legend
One of Lisa’s most emotional moments came from working with Zeenat Aman. For Lisa, the experience wasn’t just professional—it was deeply personal.
“My dad is a huge fan of Zeenat Aman,” Lisa shared. “I grew up watching her films with him. When I told him I was working with her, his face lit up. It was a moment of pride and nostalgia.”
A Full-Circle Moment
Lisa described the opportunity as a “full-circle moment.” For someone who admired Aman through her father’s eyes, acting beside the legendary actress felt surreal.
Star-Studded Drama
The Royals explores themes of power, legacy, and privilege. The series features a strong ensemble cast including Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, and Zeenat Aman.
A Personal and Professional Milestone
Lisa’s journey from music to acting marks more than a career shift—it connects her passion with her family’s love for Indian cinema.
As The Royals prepares to stream, fans are eager to see Lisa shine in a role that bridges talent, heritage, and heartfelt emotion.
