A Look at the SeriesMargo Millet (Elle Fanning) is a college dropout and single mom who is having money problems after getting pregnant by her professor. She gets money from OnlyFans, following the advice of her ex-wrestler father Jinx (Nick Offerman), and reconnects with her Hooters waitress mother Shyanne (Michelle Pfeiffer). The Apple TV+ show, based on Rufi Thorpe’s book and written by David E. Kelley, started airing its first three episodes on April 15, 2026. New episodes came out every week until May 20.
The show is “warm, welcoming, and well-acted,” and it likes how it has a quirky family dramedy feel. Critics say it has more to it than just its strange premise; it mixes humor with real family issues. Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer “sparkle,” making the story better even though it uses well-known tropes.
Elle Fanning does a great job as the creative Margo, and she even plays an alien in her OnlyFans videos. Michelle Pfeiffer is great as her strong mother, and Nick Offerman adds a wrestling touch as the estranged father. Michael Angarano and other actors in supporting roles add to the cast.
Early buzz puts “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” on the list of new Apple TV+ hits, with high Rotten Tomatoes scores and praise at its SXSW premiere. Fans of quirky dramedies will like how it takes a bold look at motherhood, survival, and success in a different way. Watch it now for the stars and the creative way the story is told.
