During the first day’s shoot of Divya Prem, Megha Ray had an experience she would never forget. Dancing as Divya, she danced the Tandav in a temple in front of Mahadev.
“I was overjoyed. As a kid, I used to dream of dancing in front of a temple or Mahadev. With him as Nataraj, the divine dancer, it was fate,” Megha confided.
A Magical Sign on Set
Megha unfolded how the character continues to surprise her. “I never did believe in signs. But this show is magical. That dance fetched forgotten dreams,” she explained.
Beyond Performance: A Spiritual Journey
Reminiscing about the scene, Megha mentioned, “I was not thinking about the cameras. It wasn’t acting—it was spiritual. Like I had stepped into another universe. Even today, I get goosebumps.”
