Nikola Jokic, a Serbian star, had a double-double with 24 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, and one block. However, Denver’s efficiency dropped against Minnesota’s tough frontcourt. The Nuggets fell apart late in the game, even though Jokic played well and gave them a 19-point lead early in the second quarter. Lithuanian veteran Jonas Valanciunas only played a few minutes off the bench and got two rebounds.
