## **A Horror Franchise with a Woman in Charge
With Chhorii and its sequel, Nushrratt Bharuccha is making her own way in Bollywood, where female-led franchises are still rare. The actress is getting ready for the next part of the scary horror universe. She says this journey has been hard but very rewarding.
Nushrratt says, “I didn’t do it alone.”
Nushrratt talked about how the franchise has changed her career and who she is as a person.
She said, “Chhorii 1 and 2 meant a lot to me.” We’re starting another one now, and to be honest, it’s really hard for a girl to start her own business. My producer, director, and every other actor helped me. I didn’t do it alone. I say this because I used to think I would only be a rom-com actress. *
## Getting Out of Her Comfort Zone
Nushrratt was known for her romantic comedies at first, but she says she never thought she would work in such a dark genre. Chhorii changed that path, giving her the chance to use horror to look at darker topics, deeper emotions, and social issues.
## A Message to Every Girl Who Is Changing Her Path
Nushrratt gives credit for the success of Chhorii to every girl who chooses to change and be brave as she moves on to the next part. Her journey shows that passion and belief can leave a lasting mark, even in genres that aren’t expected.
