Famous actor Pankaj Tripathi and his wife and business manager Mridula Tripathi are officially stepping into theatre production with their newly launched company, Roopkatha Rangmanch. Their debut production, the musical comedy Lailaaj, is even more special because it also marks the first-ever stage performance of their daughter, Aashi Tripathi.
A Warm and Emotional Return to Theatre
Lailaaj is written, directed, composed, and lyrically crafted by Faiz Mohammed Khan, making it a creatively rich, all-in-one theatrical effort. The musical blends humour, music, and heartfelt emotions, offering audiences a refreshing and engaging stage experience. Moreover, the play will be performed at Rangshila Theatre in Mumbai on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of this month, inviting theatre lovers to enjoy a truly joyful production.
For Pankaj Tripathi, this project feels like a homecoming. Before becoming a celebrated name in cinema, he first discovered his passion and discipline through theatre.
