The Producers Guild of India has entered a new international partnership with Moskino. The agreement marks a significant step in strengthening film industry ties between India and Russia.
The deal was signed on September 4, 2026, during the Third Moscow International Film Week. The ceremony took place at the Moskino film factory in Moscow.
Importantly, the partnership focuses on long-term cooperation. It aims to create new opportunities in film production, talent exchange, filming locations and cross-border collaboration.
Producers Guild of India and Moskino Join Hands
Georgy Prokopov, CEO of Moskino, and Shibasish Sarkar, President of the Producers Guild of India, signed the agreement.
The ceremony took place at the Open Hall. It was part of the session titled “Film Cities: New Routes for International Cooperation.”

Russia’s Smena and India’s Kartina Entertainment and Sports Pvt Ltd signed a co-production agreement for the Russian-Indian film Smash.
