Mumbai, India – May 20, 2025 — Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free streaming platform, is turning heads with its latest youth-centric series, Pyar, Paisa, Profit. Based on Durjoy Dutta’s bestselling novel Now That You’re Rich, Let’s Fall in Love, the show explores ambition, relationships, and moral dilemmas in the fast-paced corporate world of Mumbai.

A Story of Dreams and Dilemmas

Directed by Prashant Singh, the series follows Abhijeet—played by Mihir Ahuja—a bright, young man from Delhi chasing success in Mumbai. As he climbs the corporate ladder, he faces difficult choices that test his values and relationships.

The show also stars RJ Mahvash, Pratik Yadav, Shivangi Khedkar, Nitish Sharma, and Naman Upadhyaya.

Mihir Ahuja: “I Had to Be Part of This”

Mihir was hooked from the start.
“I remember reading the logline and thinking, I have to be part of this,” he said. “When I met director Prashant Singh and heard his vision, everything made sense.”

He hadn’t read the book before, but friends urged him to take the role. “They told me the story was powerful—and they were right,” he added.

A Universal Message

For Mihir, the show’s appeal lies in its realism.
“What struck me most is how it speaks to anyone who’s ever dared to dream,” he said. “It’s about the fire people bring to big cities—the drive, the hustle, and the tough decisions.”

His character, Abhijeet, represents many young Indians trying to balance ambition with integrity.
“That inner conflict will resonate with viewers,” Mihir explained. “These are choices we all face, no matter our background.”
