Rafta Rafta Medley: Time To Dance Up A Storm With Dharmendra, Salman, Rekha & Shatrughan Sinha In Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se Song
If you love Bollywood medleys, you will go bananas over this one! Here’s the medley of the year – presenting to you the super fun and absolutely foot-tapping mash-up, Rafta Rafta Medley from Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. As the name suggests, it is a quirky mix of various blockbuster numbers for yesteryears. To top it all, the track has Bollywood icons like Dharmendra, Rekha, Salman Khan, Shatrughan Sinha, Sunny and Bobby Deol and Sonakshi Sinha grooving to the crackling tunes.
It’s an ultimate medley of Rafta Rafta Dekho Aankh Meri Ladi Hai, originally from the 1973 film Kahani Kismat Ki that featured Dharmendra and Rekha in lead roles. It was originally sung by the legendary singer Kishore Kumar and composed by Kalyanji-Anandji. Other peppy songs in the medley include O Mere Sona Re, Salam-e-Ishq and the evergreen Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana. An absolute star-struck moment for movie freaks! Watch and match steps with all your favorites.
While the song has been scored by Vishal Mishra, Bollywood beauties Rekha and Sonakshi Sinha have also crooned in the medley along with Vishal, Jordi Patel, Disha Sharma and Akash Ojha.
Yamla Pagla Deewana has become a successful franchise that has received audience’s love and appreciation with both of its first two installments. Now the third one is ready to tickle everyone’s funny bones, and going by the film’s trailer and this snazzy song, of course, looks like, the father-sons trio will create an impact this time around as well. So far as the plot of the action comedy is concerned, Dharmendra’s character, an alcohol lover, can see angels. Sunny plays a doctor who is as strong and powerful as a wrestler. Bobby essays the role of a 40-year-old bachelor who’s searching for love. His hunt ends in the beautiful Kriti Kharbanda. Salman is in a cameo in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se and his screen name is Mastana.
Directed by Navaniat Singh, the comedy is scheduled to have its theatrical release on 31 August 2018.
