Ryan Reynolds Makes Surprise Deadpool Appearance at Comic-Con

Marvel surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con when Ryan Reynolds stepped onto the Hall H stage in full Deadpool costume during Marvel Studios’ presentation. Delivering his signature humor, Reynolds instantly sparked fresh speculation about Deadpool’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Marvel brought Reynolds on stage while showcasing its highly anticipated blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday, one of the studio’s most ambitious crossover films.

Remaining completely in character, Reynolds jokingly asked the Russo Brothers and fellow Marvel stars when he could begin filming for Avengers: Doomsday. His playful remarks drew thunderous applause and laughter from the Hall H audience. However, Marvel still declined to confirm whether Deadpool will officially appear in the film.

Although Marvel offered no casting confirmation, Reynolds’ surprise appearance reignited fan excitement and fueled rumors that Wade Wilson could play a significant role in the MCU’s next chapter.

Reynolds has also teased new creative ideas for Deadpool, suggesting the character may return in a major team-up film instead of another standalone sequel.
