From Corporate Chaos to Spiritual Calm: Sharmila Cirvante on Leaving Advertising for Intuitive Healing

Mumbai, April 2026: Sharmila Cirvante, a psychic and spiritual healer, has taken an unconventional career path. Once a successful advertising professional, she stepped away from the corporate world to follow her spiritual calling. Today, she works as a certified spiritual healer, automatic writer, and spirit guide communicator.

Although her career has changed dramatically, she believes both industries share surprising similarities. However, she admits the environments felt completely different.

“The advertising world was toxic; spirituality is calming. Otherwise, both revolve around intuition and creation,” she shared.

From Advertising Campaigns to Energy Work

To begin with, Cirvante believes her advertising career prepared her for intuitive healing. She explained that understanding clients and audiences required deep intuition and emotional awareness.

“Creating campaigns meant reading the client and their audiences. Getting a gut feeling about whether an idea had ‘charge’ or not. That’s energy work. We just didn’t call it that,” she said.

Therefore, she sees a strong connection between both fields. According to her, intuition, creativity, and empathy form the foundation of her work — whether in advertising or spiritual healing.

Corporate Lessons That Still Guide Her

Despite moving away from corporate life, Cirvante credits it for shaping her discipline. In fact, she says advertising taught her structure, accountability, and professionalism.

“Results mattered. You were only as good as your last job. So you stayed alert, kept learning, and kept improving,” she explained.

As a result, her transition into intuitive healing became smoother. She now approaches spiritual work with the same professionalism and dedication.

A Quiet Shift in Identity

However, the shift also brought emotional changes. Cirvante explained that success looks very different in the spiritual world compared to corporate life.

“In corporate spaces, titles and awards define success. In intuitive work, wins are quieter. A breakthrough. A release. You learn to trust a different kind of validation,” she said.

Consequently, she describes her journey as moving from helping brands connect with audiences to helping individuals connect with themselves.

Facing Fear, Credibility, and Financial Concerns

While Cirvante believed in her abilities, she admitted that credibility and financial stability were concerns.

“In advertising, my titles and results spoke for me. In intuitive work, proof is almost invisible,” she shared.

Additionally, she experienced an identity shift. Initially, she wondered who she was without her corporate designation. Over time, however, she realised her skills had simply evolved.

Support, Skepticism, and Standing Firm

Meanwhile, reactions from those around her were mixed. Some supported her decision, while others questioned her move from a successful, high-paying career.

“The supportive ones had already experienced my intuitive side. The sceptical ones thought I was being impractical,” she said.

Nevertheless, she believes skepticism often comes from unfamiliarity. Her clarity and confidence helped her stay firm in her decision.

“I wasn’t running away from corporate life. I was consciously choosing something more authentic. When you stand firmly, even doubters begin to respect it,” she added.

Making Spiritual Work More Relatable

Furthermore, Cirvante focuses on simplifying how she explains her work. Instead of using technical terms, she uses language that people can easily understand.

“I tell people I connect them with their loved ones so they can express what was left unsaid and find closure,” she explained.

Creativity and Intuition: A Shared Intelligence

Finally, Cirvante highlighted the strong connection between advertising creativity and intuitive healing.

“Both rely on empathy, pattern recognition, and flow. The language may be different, but it’s the same intelligence at work,” she concluded.

Ultimately, her journey reflects a growing trend of professionals moving away from high-pressure corporate roles toward purpose-driven careers — blending intuition, creativity, and emotional connection. ✨
