Snoop Dogg was the main act for Netflix’s NFL Christmas Day halftime show during the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings game at U.S. Bank Stadium. Fans compared Lainey Wilson to Dolly Parton when she arrived in a white sleigh wearing a jumpsuit and cowboy hat and singing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami from the animated hit “KPop Demon Hunters” sang a lively version of “12 Days of Christmas.” The show started with Martha Stewart’s fun “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and ended with Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli’s “White Christmas.”
Performance Highlights
Snoop started with “The Next Episode” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” both with a live orchestra. Then he led a choral version of “My Favorite Things” with ballerinas. During the 4:30 p.m. ET game streamed live on Netflix, fans went crazy online, calling it “amazing” and praising the mix of genres. Snoop ended with holiday cheer and teased more surprises before the event.
