Missing TV Actor’s Case Becomes Murder Investigation

The search for Canadian actor Stewart McLean has taken a devastating turn. Police are now treating his disappearance as a homicide investigation after uncovering evidence at his Lions Bay, British Columbia home.

McLean was last seen at his residence on May 15 and reported missing days later. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say investigators discovered details that convinced them he was killed. The case has since been handed to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, who are working to piece together what happened.

The actor, who appeared on television shows including Virgin River, Arrow, and Happy Face, had been missing for nearly a week when authorities upgraded the case. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them as they continue their investigation into his death.
