TikTok Returns as Platinum Partner for 2026 Juno Awards
TikTok Returns

For the sixth year in a row, TikTok Canada will be a Platinum Partner of the 2026 Juno Awards. This is a big comeback after the company stopped sponsoring events because of a federal shutdown order. The platform is back after Industry Minister Mélanie Joly changed her mind about closing it in 2024. This decision came after a national security review that added new protections for minors and user data. As a result, this new deal with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) shows how TikTok helps Canadian artists get more exposure around the world.

As part of the partnership, some Canadian TikTok creators get to see exclusive behind-the-scenes events, like the Juno Awards set reveal, backstage tours, artist rehearsals, and the Skip Orange Carpet. These VIP moments are meant to bring the excitement of Juno Week to fans all over the world. They also help them find new music on the platform. The project shows that TikTok is still helping new artists before the big event.

The 55th annual Juno Awards, hosted by comedian Mae Martin, start in Hamilton, Ontario, and end with a broadcast on Sunday. Justin Bieber and Tate McRae are tied for the most nominations, with six each. This sets the stage for Canada’s biggest music night. TikTok’s return also helps programs like MusiCounts, which were hurt by the suspension.
