Holloway couldn’t beat Oliveira again like he did when he first started his career, and Oliveira improved to 3-3 after winning this fight. The fight was the main event on a full card that started streaming on Paramount+ at 9 p.m. ET.
In the middleweight co-main event, Caio Borralho beat Reinier de Ridder by a unanimous decision (30-27 x3). This was a comeback from his last loss. In a close back-and-forth fight, Borralho’s aggressive combinations and leg kicks beat de Ridder’s attempts to take him down. This win keeps Borralho in the top 10 middleweight contenders.
Rodolfo Bellato’s first-round TKO (punches) over Luke Fernandez at 2:42 was one of the best fights of the prelims. Cody Garbrandt won a messy bantamweight fight against Xiao Long by unanimous decision (28-27 x3), even though there were fouls and a point deduction. Su Mudaerji, Diyar Nurgozhay, and Nyamjargal Tumendemberel also won by decision.
