Carlos Ulberg shocked the MMA world by knocking out former champion Jiri Prochazka to win the vacant UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 327 on April 11, 2026, at Miami’s Kaseya Center. The New Zealand fighter knocked out his opponent in a big way, making a big comeback after Prochazka’s recent title challenges. Fans can watch the official post-fight press conference live stream on Paramount+ to see the action again.
In the co-main event, Paulo Costa won a thrilling TKO over Azamat Murzakanov with a head kick in Round 3. Josh Hokit shocked Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision in a Fight of the Night contender, which helped his heavyweight career. Dominick Reyes beat Johnny Walker by split decision and Cub Swanson beat Nate Landwehr by TKO. These were some of the other highlights.
Dana White, the CEO of the UFC, held the press conference after the main card. He answered questions from the winners and talked about bonuses. Tensions from media day before the fight, like Prochazka’s almost-fight with Hokit, made things more interesting. You can watch the whole conference on YouTube or Paramount+ to hear Ulberg’s thoughts on the title and White’s reactions.
