An Anglican preschool in Poole, Dorset, is in the news for not letting kids sing songs from the hit Netflix show “KPop Demon Hunters.” The school decided to do this because some people in the community don’t like how the movie talks about demons and think it goes against the school’s Christian values.

“KPop Demon Hunters” and its popular girl group HUNTR/X have become global hits, topping Netflix viewership charts and music charts. However, the school said that it is their duty to respect people of all faiths. The school told parents that some families might not like how the movie shows demons and asked them to tell their kids not to sing the songs at school out of respect for those who don’t share their beliefs.

Some parents have said the ban is not needed and that the songs teach good values like teamwork, bravery, and kindness. School officials, on the other hand, say their goal is still to help students accept differences and realize that their classmates may have different points of view, especially when it comes to spiritual topics.
