Starring Rajkummar Rao alongside Janhvi Kapoor, it weaves together love, dreams, and a shared passion for cricket.
Plot Summary:
Mahendra and Mahima, brought together by an arranged marriage, share more than just their names—they both go by the nickname “Mahi.” As they embark on their journey as Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, they discover a common love for cricket. Mahendra, a failed cricketer, recognizes the natural talent in Mahima and becomes her coach. Together, they chase her dream of becoming a professional cricketer, turning their love story into an inspiring tale of determination and teamwork.
The Intriguing Trailer:
Apart from the film’s intriguing plot, the trailer has a surprise in store for fans. The song “Dekhha Tenu,” featuring the popular verse “Dekha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve,” draws inspiration from the blockbuster track “Say ‘Shava Shava’” in “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.” Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s sparkling chemistry adds to the excitement, making this romantic song a highlight for audiences.
“Mr. & Mrs. Mahi” promises to be a delightful cinematic experience, blending love, dreams, and the thrill of cricket. Mark your calendars for May 31, 2024, when this heartwarming film hits theatres.
