Fifth Netflix Stand-Up Special by the Emmy®️ Winner, Vir Das, Promises Laughter and Insight. Global Comedy Star Turns Up the Volume
Mumbai, 20 June 2025:
Emmy®️ Award-winning comedian Vir Das returns with a new Netflix special named Fool Volume. The special releases on July 18, marking his fifth Netflix partnership — a feat for any Indian comedian.
Vir applies his own unique blend of humor, absurdity, and keen observation to the international stage once again.
A Special Born in Silence
This is not your ordinary comedy origin story.
“We were going to do something else. Then I lost my voice,” says Vir. “This show was rewritten in silence and performed without rehearsal.”
Fool Volume finds self-expression, joy, and the voices in our heads, all presented through Vir’s unapologetic, uncompromising gaze.
First Indian Comic With Five Netflix Specials
From Abroad Understanding to Landing, Vir has placed Indian stand-up on the global map. His recent special even won him an International Emmy®️.
Now with Fool Volume, he continues his streak as India’s most globally recognized comedian.
