Fans are excited because Shawn and Marlon Wayans have hinted at a possible sequel to their 2004 cult classic White Chicks. The brothers talked about this in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote Scary Movie 6.
The Wayans brothers made it clear that White Chicks 2 will only happen if Scary Movie 6 does well at the box office. “We’re game,” said Marlon Wayans. We want to know if people come out and laugh when they see Scary Movie 6. “If this movie does well, there can be a White Chicks 2 movie,” Shawn said.
Marlon says that fans often ask for the sequel and sound frustrated when they can’t get any information about it. Scary Movie 6, directed by Michael Tiddes and coming out in the U.S. on June 5, 2026, stars Anna Faris and Regina Hall again.
White Chicks, which came out more than 20 years ago, is about two Black FBI agents who pretend to be white socialites. It made more than $113 million around the world and is still a favorite comedy. In 2009, there was talk of a sequel, but it was never made.
