Decade after its release, Yo Yo Honey Singh‘s emotional chartbuster One Thousand Miles is finally being assigned a music video. The song, from his 2014 album Desi Kalakaar, is soon going to be brought alive on the big screen.
A Long-Awaited Visual
Directed by T-Series and Bhushan Kumar, the film is personal to Yo Yo Honey Singh. Honey Singh posted on social media:
*”Wrapping up the long pending chapter of my life upon public request, filming *One Thousand Miles. Guess the leading lady? She is extra special to me.”
Mandy Takhar Confirmed as Lead
Singh eventually unveiled Mandy Takhar as the lead lady and included Honey Singh’s unique style in his announcement. His post stated:
*”Most anticipated *One Thousand Miles* featuring Mandy Takhar. It’s not a song. It’s my life.”*
A Personal Connection
Singh has referred to Mandy as his “favourite person on earth”, joyfully marking their reunion after 12 years. For Yo Yo Honey Singh, the music video holds more than what meets the eye — it’s connected deeply with him, and it’s an emotional wrap fans have been waiting years for.
