Alix Earle, a 24-year-old TikTok star, posted a sad video on December 13 to confirm that she and NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios, 30, had broken up after more than two years together. She said they’ve been in a long-distance relationship since June, which makes it hard for them to see each other often, especially when she was in LA for Dancing With The Stars. Earle said the breakup was “really hard to deal with,” and he made it clear that there was no drama or hate behind the decision.
Earle said that personal growth and different paths led to the end. She said she liked being independent in LA and felt bad for not being there for Berrios all the time. The influencer said it was more her realization than his expectation because she is busy with her own life. Fans had been talking about it since Berrios missed her DWTS events because of football, and the rumors got stronger after Thanksgiving.
Earle, who was crying, called Berrios her “best friend” and asked fans not to attack him online, which shows that they are still friends. She said that she was having a hard time on her own while keeping up with her public life, which showed how hard the split was for her. The couple’s two-year relationship, which was marked by public displays of affection, comes to an end because of work obligations.
