Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is turning the spotlight on everyday heroes with her latest project, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. The film’s newly released motion poster, titled “The Unseen Heroes,” offers a refreshing take on heroism—one that honors quiet courage over dramatic action.
Rather than glorifying larger-than-life heroics, the motion poster celebrates the often-invisible workers who kept people safe during crises: nurses, ward boys, cleaners, lift operators, security personnel and hospital administrators. Set within hospital corridors, the footage captures small but crucial moments—a nurse holding a door shut, a ward boy staying with patients amid chaos—that defined real bravery.
“This is a salutation to those invisible souls who shield others without seeking recognition,” Ranaut said of the project. She highlighted how the film honors “the uniforms nobody notices until the world is burning—the blood-stained aprons, the sterile hospital scrubs, the frayed civilian clothes,” calling viewers to look “into the eyes of people who surrendered everything without ever demanding an audience.”
The creative team describes their approach as documenting “the silence of bravery”—those split-second decisions when civilians suppress survival instincts to protect others. Director Manoj Tapadia emphasized cinema’s unique power to capture such intimate human details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Producer Dr. Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios framed the film as a celebration of empathy and shared resilience. “In moments of crisis, an unspoken instinct takes over, where one Indian naturally steps in to protect another,” he explained, emphasizing that the backing behind this project stems from a desire to preserve that spirit rather than chase commercial returns.
The ensemble cast includes Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra and Zahid Khan.
Presented by PEN Studios and produced in collaboration with Manikarnika Films, Paramhans Creations, Eunoia Films and Floating Rocks Entertainment, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2026, distributed by Pen Marudhar.
