Nika King Returns: Euphoria Season 3 First Look Revealed

The network has confirmed that Nika King, who played Rue’s devoted mother Leslie Bennett in HBO’s hit show Euphoria, will be back for season 3. They also released an exciting first-look photo. The picture, which says “We’ve come a long way,” means that she is back, and fans are looking forward to the long-awaited episodes.

King’s return comes after her stand-up routine, in which she joked about having trouble paying rent during the long break since Euphoria season 2 ended in February 2022. She joked, “Season three is coming out… I don’t fucking know… I haven’t paid my rent in six months,” playfully referring to Zendaya’s appearances at fashion week while she waited for production to start. The first-look photo from HBO on February 9, 2026, put those rumors to rest and confirmed her role in the Sam Levinson-created drama.

The third season of Euphoria will start on April 12. It will pick up five years after the end of season 2. Filming started in February 2025 and ended eight months later. Stars like Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer came back to work with King. There were rumors that she would leave the show in 2025, but her involvement shows how the cast is changing.
