Joe Rogan, a podcaster, said he would vote for Spencer Pratt, a reality TV star from MTV’s “The Hills,” which has given him a lot of support in his campaign for mayor of Los Angeles. This support came during Pratt’s recent visit to Rogan’s podcast, where he talked about his problems with Mayor Karen Bass.
Pratt said he was running for office in January 2026, a year after the terrible Palisades wildfire destroyed his home and more than 6,000 other buildings, killing 12 people. He has made himself a vocal critic of city leaders by focusing on their failures in responding to disasters and demanding accountability. Pratt wants to make LA “camera-ready again” for the June election by filing paperwork in February.
Rogan said on his podcast that he agreed with Pratt’s point of view and was “swayed” enough to support him against Bass. Rogan, who is known for swaying people’s political views, gives Pratt’s outsider campaign a boost. Pratt blamed Bass’s government for problems that kept happening after the fire, which helped his campaign.
As a challenger to Bass, his fame and Rogan’s endorsement could change the race in 2026.
