Nupur Sanon recently opened up about a tense moment with her sister Kriti Sanon during her wedding preparations. However, what started with frustration eventually turned into a heartwarming story about sisterly support.
During an appearance on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s podcast Double Date, Nupur spoke about the challenges of planning her wedding to singer Stebin Ben.
At the time, Kriti was busy shooting, while Stebin was travelling. As a result, Nupur had to manage several wedding responsibilities largely on her own.
Nupur Felt Overwhelmed During Wedding Prep
Nupur revealed that Kriti was involved in important aspects of the wedding. She helped with the décor and food menu, especially because she was good at handling such details.
However, Kriti’s work commitments kept her busy. Meanwhile, Nupur was dealing with multiple arrangements herself.
Naturally, the pressure started to build. Eventually, she admitted that she was a little upset with her sister.

Recalling the moment, Nupur said she told Kriti, “Ek hi behen hai tumhari and I was loaded with work.”
The comment reflected her frustration at the time. After all, she was managing the décor, food and several other wedding-related tasks.
Still, the sisters’ bond remained strong. In fact, Kriti had already assured Nupur that she would take care of things.
Kriti Had Promised to Help
Kriti reportedly told Nupur not to worry. She promised that everything would be taken care of.
However, because Kriti was busy with shooting, Nupur did not immediately see how much her sister was actually contributing.

The Décor Team Revealed Kriti’s Secret Efforts
Once the celebrations were over, the décor team shared something surprising with Nupur.
They told her that Kriti had been extremely hands-on throughout the preparations. She was not simply overseeing the arrangements. Instead, she was actively helping the team.
Kriti reportedly adjusted curtains and fixed décor details herself. She even worked alongside the crew like any other team member.

Nupur said the décor team was impressed by Kriti’s down-to-earth nature.
According to Nupur, they told her they had never seen anyone so grounded. Despite being a well-known actress, Kriti did not hesitate to get involved in small tasks.
