Olivia Rodrigo & Addison Rae’s Epic ‘Drop Dead’ Coachella Debut

Olivia Rodrigo surprised everyone by showing up during Addison Rae’s Weekend 2 set at Coachella 2026. This was the first time she performed her new single “Drop Dead” live. The exciting collaboration on the main stage in Indio, California, drove fans wild. The pop stars also sang Rae’s hit “Headphones On” together.

The chemistry between the two was clear when Rodrigo’s emotional singing and Rae’s polished pop style came together perfectly to make a great “pop girls” moment at the festival. “Drop Dead,” which came out on April 17, 2026, had more than 10.7 million streams on its first day and debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global chart.

Rodrigo is making her second appearance at Coachella, after being a guest with No Doubt in 2024. “Drop Dead” is the first song on Rodrigo’s third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which will come out on June 12, 2026.

The performance boosted Rae’s growing music career, following up on her 2025 album Addison and showing off Coachella’s tradition of surprise guests.
