Astrologer, choreographer, and healer Rinhee Suberwal recently celebrated a traditional wedding in Udaipur, after her simple court marriage. The ceremony, filled with divine rituals, left her feeling truly complete and spiritually fulfilled.
Traditional Rituals vs. Court Marriage
Reflecting on her court marriage, Rinhee said, “While it felt good, nothing compares to the purity of traditional rituals. They brought a sense of oneness that I hadn’t experienced before, making it feel like we were truly marrying for the first time.”
A Royal Rajwada Theme
Rinhee and her husband chose a Rajwada theme for the wedding, symbolizing royalty and tradition. Family members, including her masi and mama, performed the rituals, while close friends from across India traveled to Udaipur to be part of the celebration.
“It was overwhelming to reconnect with friends I hadn’t seen in years,” Rinhee shared.
Udaipur: A Symbolic Venue
The couple selected Udaipur for its cultural significance and its symbolic meaning. “‘Ud’ means rise, representing our journey toward a prosperous future together,” said Rinhee. The city’s name perfectly aligned with their vision for their new life.
Star-Studded Guest List
The wedding saw a distinguished guest list, including choreographer Nikitin Dheer, who had previously worked with Rinhee. Other notable guests included Rinhee’s Padmashri-nominee nani and family celebrities. “The ceremony was unique, and everyone found it memorable,” she added.
Dance Performances by RDC
As a choreographer, Rinhee’s dance school, RDC, performed at the wedding. She and her husband also put on a special dance for their guests. Rinhee praised her family for their support in organizing the event.
“My mother, masi, and mama were the backbone of the celebration,” she said.
Parmod Kumar: The Perfect Life Partner
Rinhee expressed her admiration for her husband, Parmod Kumar, who is also a choreographer and healer. “He’s understanding, patient, and has a positive impact on everyone around him. I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner,” she said.
Despite some family members being unable to attend, the couple felt supported by their loved ones’ blessings.
A Modern Family Dynamic
Rinhee praised Parmod for embracing her family, stating, “We don’t follow traditional norms. Both partners work together and share family responsibilities. The key is understanding and acceptance.”
With love, respect, and shared values, Rinhee and Parmod are ready to build a prosperous future together.
