In Stranger Things season 5, Max Mayfield wakes up from a two-year coma and finds himself stuck in Vecna’s horrible Camazotz realm with Holly Wheeler. Sink says her character is in a “rough, feral state,” dealing with dream-within-dream horrors while being physically weak and unable to fully join the fight against Vecna. Fans are overjoyed that Max is back from the dead, bringing back memories that haunt him, monsters that are scary, and emotional reunions with Lucas.
