Stephen King’s ‘Desperation’ Movie Adaptation in the Works With Sam Raimi Producing

Stephen King’s chilling horror novel Desperation is returning to the screen with a new feature film adaptation from Searchlight Pictures. Acclaimed filmmaker Sam Raimi has joined the project as producer, marking the novel’s first major theatrical adaptation after its 2006 made-for-television movie.

According to multiple reports, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the directing duo behind the hit horror sequel Final Destination: Bloodlines, will helm the film. Raimi will produce through his Ghost House Pictures banner, further expanding his long-running legacy in horror cinema.
