Baywatch Reboot: Teaser Sparks Excitement

The Baywatch reboot is here, and it’s grabbing attention fast. FOX released its first teaser Saturday. It features social media stars Livvy Dunne and Brooks Nader in the franchise’s iconic fiery red swimsuits—a look Pamela Anderson would be proud of.

Brooks Nader plays lifeguard Selene. She strides across a dock at night in the red one-piece, channeling 90s lifeguard energy. Livvy Dunne makes her acting debut as Grace. She wears matching red lifeguard gear with blonde hair blowing in the ocean breeze.

Stephen Amell plays adult Hobie and leads as lifeguard captain. He sprints shirtless across the sand in slow motion with a rescue buoy. It’s a full Baywatch fantasy sequence straight from the glory days.

The teaser has all the classic hallmarks: sun-kissed California beaches, slow-motion action, and brave first responders saving lives.

The reboot blends old and new. Dunne is a TikTok and gymnastics star dating MLB pitcher Paul Skenes. This is her acting debut. Nader stars in Love Thy Nader and has graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover. The cast also includes Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, and David Chokachi. Original star Chokachi returns alongside fellow legend Erika Eleniak.

The reboot premieres on FOX in January 2026. It has 12 episodes filmed at Venice Beach in Los Angeles.

Fans are already obsessed. The show mixes nostalgia with modern influencer culture. Dunne’s move from social media to Hollywood is huge. Nader brings reality TV swagger and modeling credits. Original cast returns. Iconic slow-motion moments and red swimsuits are back. Producers honor Baywatch’s legacy while targeting Gen-Z.

The formula is already working.
